15.-(1) The Director, any Assistant Director, any senior Powers special investigator or any special investigator may without a warrant arrest any person who has been concerned in any offence under this Ordinance or against whom a reasonable complaint has been made or credible information has been received or a reasonable suspicion exists of his having been so concerned.

(2) The Director, any Assistant Director. any special investigator or special investigator arresting a person under subsection (1) of this section may search such person and take possession of all articles found upon him which there is reason to believe were the fruits or other evidences of the crime, provided that no female shall be searched except by a female.
(3) Every person so arrested shall be taken to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau or to a police station.
16. In any case relating to the commission
(a) of an offence under section 165 or under sections 213 to 215 of the Penal Code, or of any con- spiracy to commit, or of any attempt to commit. or of any abetment of such offence; or
(b) of an offence under this Ordinance; or
(c) of any seizable offence under any written law which
may
be disclosed in the course of an investigation under this Ordinance.
the Director, an Assistant Director, a senior special investigator or a special investigator may, without the order of the Public Prosecutor, exercise all or any of the special powers in relation to police investigations into a seizable offence given by the Criminal Procedure Code:
Provided that an investigation into an offence under the Penal Code shall be deemed to be a police investigation to which the provisions of section 121 of the Criminal Pro- cedure Code shall apply in the same manner and to the same extent as if the Director, the Assistant Director, the senior special investigator or the special investigator concerned were a police officer.
