advantage and all the rest is presumed. I would have preferred a presumption that did not go further than that provided in section 2 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1916. But in practice the real fight would be on:
(a) proof of the payment; and
(b)
whe ther it was paid or received with lawful authority or reasonable excuse,
therefore, I think, taking into account the circumstances in Hong Kong, the clause is just acceptable. If Clause 10 is referred to the Law Officers then I suggest their attention also should be drawn to clauses 14 (1) (a) and (c), 15, 20 and 25.
