NOTES FOR SUPPLEMENTARIES

Places available in Primary Schools

The total number of places available in Government and

subsidised primary schools is expected to exceed by the end of

this year the estimated number of children of primary school

age desiring places in such schools.

Primary School Fees

2. Fees in Government and subsidised primary schools are

27/6d. a year in urban schools and 13/9d. in rural schools.

Fees are remitted in cases of need.
