I suggest the following minor amendments to the draft record:

Para 18, 2nd sentence

Revise to read "HMG considered that one consequence might well be that UK imports from developing countries would rise, whereas those from Commonwealth developed countries (ie Canada) and non-Commonwealth developed countries too to fall".

Page 11, first line

"Adopt" should read "adapt", I think.

Para 18, last sentence

Add after "the re-imposition of quota"

even on a selective basis."
