You will wish to know that Sir David Trench, the Governor of Hong Kong, who is now on leave in this country, will be in London from the afternoon of Monday 26 October until Wednesday 28 October. He will be meeting Mr. MacLehose on the Tuesday morning.
2. The Governor, who arrived last Sunday, is here for eight weeks leave and will be coming into the Office later (a date has not yet been fixed) for consultations.
