Luncheon for Hong Kong Government officials
Consultations will be held with Hong Kong Government officials beginning on Monday 23 November and going on for three days. The Consultations will be opened by Mr. Rippon but the Chair will thereafter be taken by Mr. Bottomley. It is proposed that a luncheon should be given on Monday 23 November at about 12.45 p.m.
at Admiralty House at which Mr. Royle, our Parliamentary Under-Secretary, should preside. There will be 18 people at the luncheon, including the Governor of Hong Kong. I attach a copy of a minute to Miss Monreal in Protocol and Conference Department, which gives details of the guests, and I should be grateful if you would kindly authorise this luncheon.
