he Long Kong officials were concerned about possible British adoption of more restrictive quotes along .... lines. Ro conclusive agreements were reached, but .. officials thought that it might bẻ boat to say little about textiles during the negotiationis.
Both rounds of talks were recognised as being entirely without commitment to either side.
