Member States may, however, adopt measures providing for taxation of the compensating products obtained, in accordance with their nature and on the basis of their value for customs purposes and of the quantity ascertained or accepted on the date when they are put on the market and subject to the amount of customs duty, taxes having equivalent effect and agricultural levies collected at that time being at least equal to the amount which would have been collected in accordance with the rules in force covering temporary export for processing.

Article 9

Member States shall bring the necessary measures to comply with this Directive into force not later than I October 1969.

Article 10

Each Member State shall inform the Commission of the provisions it is making for the implementation of this Directive.

The Commission shall forward such information to other

Member States.

Article 11

This Directive is addressed to Member States.
