2. Swedish production of goren synthetis blouses has increased although imports from Hong Kong have increased rapidly. Swedish exports increased rapidly to one-third of production.

Swedish production of cotton blouses fell in 1969, but exports increased to nearly a quarter of the total. Although the total rose slightly, imports from Hong Kong fell by nearly half.
Conclusion. There is no case for restraints on Hong Kong in either case.
