My conclusion from this talk, and the previous talk I had with Tran in

Geneva, is that we are now in for a really hard battle with the EEC on

Hong Kong and the GSP, with not a great deal of chance of success.

issue is so important, largely (paradoxically) because of the American

market, that it must be fought to the end.
