Visited Britain on more than one occasion, though not

since he became Prime Minister. He has shown himself to be

interested in the further development of Anglo-Japanese

relations and was, with Mr. Wilson, Patron of the British

Exhibition held at Tokyo in 1965. Speaks a little English

and is pleasant and affable. His wife also speaks some

English and is a great help to him socially. 2 sons.
