(a) We will however bear the Governor's

suggestions very much in mind. He may like

to know for his own information that we have

considered the exclusion of Taiwan and South

Korea from our list of beneficiaries if Hong

Kong is excluded by major donors, but of course

the cxclusion of textiles makes the exclugion

of Hong Kong's competitors from UK preferences

a matter of less importance.
