(b) Have wages been the subject of discussion
with the Union at any time?

(c) If the answer to (b) is "No", how are
wages determined?
(d) Approximately what percentage of the M.P.B.W. local staff in Hong Kong is estimated to be organised by the Local Staff Union?
There is a possibility that we may come under early Parliamentary pressure, but the failure of employers in Hong Kong to recognise Trade Unions for collective bargaining purposes, and in that connection it would be helpful to have a clearer picture than we have at present of the M.P.B.W.'s position.
