Mr Foggon said that it would be possible for
the Union to inform the Department of Labour
that a trade dispute existed and ask them to
arrange for a Conciliation Court to be set up
to settle the dispute,
Mr Jenkins asked/whether the Foreign and
Commonwealth Office could support his applic-
ation to HAECO/and he was told that the Hong
Kong Government would, of course, be informed
of the situation, although it would not be
possible for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
to dićtate to the Hong Kong Government in this
maxter.
