your request for recognition.
This has received consideration by the Company and it has been decided that we cannot recognise the ASTMS as a negotiating body since almost all your members are working under contract terms. These terms are binding on both signatories, the employee concerned and the Company.
If any of your individual members have queries on their contract of service, or their interpretation, we would be glad to discuss such matters. In the first instance any such individual queries should be raised with Mr. Russell, Personnel Supt.
