Tho Commissioner of Labour is authorised under the Factorios and

Industrial Undertakings Regulations to allow proprietors a poriod of grace

of not more than six months from Docombor 1, 1970, to adjust their arrangements

to the now requirements if ho is satisfied there are vory special reasons

for doing so.

Unloss proprietors of industrial undortakings have boon granted

a poriod of grace by the Commissioner of Labour in writing, it is an offence

to employ woman and young persons for more than eight hours 20 minutes a

day, oxcluding overtime, on or after December 1, 1970.
