Night Work for Women in Factories in
the United Kingdom
In response to enquiries, particularly in the Legislative Council on 11th March, 1970, the Commissioner of Labour has undertaken to seek information on the main heads of agreement on night work for women negotiated in November 1969 in respect of the Vauxhall motor plants in the United Kingdom. The only details available here have been gleaned from reports in the London press. I should be grateful if a summary of the agreement could be made available to enable the Commissioner of Labour to reply to the enquiries.
