You suggested expanding the report and I have now had the additional paragraphs typed. I am not sure if Mr.Royle (a) has in mind a grant of £100,000 to be spent over five years (b) or grants of up to £100,000 for each institute.

is the proposal we have put to ODA. Government are reported to have offered Yen 125 m. as a con- tribution to the Polytechnic. This is the equivalent of US $350,000 (not US $ 400,000 as stated by Mr. P.Y. Tang) or £146,000.
