I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed Mr Paul TSUI Ka-cheung, OBE, JP, to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council on a definitive basis with effect from 17th August 1970 consequent upon the resignation of Mr G. T. Rowe, JP.

Mr Tsui has served on the Legislative Council on previous occasions in an ex officio capacity whilst acting as Secretary for Home Affairs. He is now Commissioner for Resettlement.
