FOUR BILLS PASS COUNCIL

One Unofficial Mombor's Bill

Four bills completed their committee stage and third reading in

the Logislative Council today.

One of them, the Community Chest of Hong Kong (Amendment) Bill

1970, was an unofficial membor's bill.

The other three were the Dogs and Cats (Amendment) Bill 1970, the

Public Health (Animals and Birds) (Amendment) Bill 1970, and the Federation

of Hong Kong Industrios (Amendment) Bill 1970.

be provisionally an official member of the Legislative Council on the return

to Hong Kong of Mr. D.R.W. Alexander, Director of Urban Services, a government
