THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

It is hereby notified that, in adcordance with instructions received

from Her Majesty the Queen through the Right Honourable the Secretary of State

for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, His Excellency the Governor has been

pleased to appoint the Honourable J. Cater, M.B.E., J.P., to be an Official

Member of the Legislative Council with effect from 1st October 1970,
