(a)

without lawful excuse, wilfully obstructs, hinders or resists

the Commissioner or any other person in the exercise of his

powers under this Ordinance;

(b) without lawful excuse, refuses or wilfully fails to comply with

any lawful requirement of the Commissioner or any other person

under this Ordinance; or

(c) wilfully makes any false statement to or misleads the Commis-

sioner or any other person in the exercise of his powers under

this Ordinance,

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a

fine of ten thousand dollars.

Power to amend First Schedule.

Saving.

32. Subject to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 6, all

salaries, allowances and other expenditure payable or incurred under or

in the administration of this Ordinance shall be met from moneys provided

by the Legislative Council.

33. (1) The Legislative Council may, by resolution, amend the First

Schedule.

(2) Where any department is abolished or reorganized, or its name is

altered, or where any new department is created, the Governor in Council

may, by order, make such amendments to the First Schedule as may be

necessary to give effect to the abolition, reorganization or alteration,

or to include the name of the new department therein.

34. The provisions of this Ordinance are in addition to the provi-

sions of any other law under which any remedy or right of appeal or

objection is provided for any person or any procedure is provided for

the inquiry into or investigation of any matter, and nothing in this

Ordinance shall limit or affect any such remedy or right of appeal or

objection or procedure as aforesaid.
