In exercise of powers conferred by Clause III of the

Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1969, I appoint -

GEORGE RONALD ROSS

Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice

of the Peace, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure,

to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council

of Hong Kong from 18th October 1970 during the absence from the

Colony of Mr Sidney Samuel Gordon, Commander of the Most

Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice of the Peace.
