HKK 21/4
CONFIDENTIAL
Hong Kong Department
27 February, 1969
I enclose for yourself, and John Gowers to whom I am copying this letter, copies of a "Christian" telegram (which means of course that its contents are unknown to the Hong Kong Government) which we have just received. We have not yet had time to make up our own minds what, if anything, we should do about Mr. Hannam's suggestion but in the meantime we should be grateful for any comments. I suppose that if Mr. Hannam's suggestion that an inspired Parliamentary Question should be asked were adopted, then it would be for your Minister to answer.
