In 1954 ho was appointod President of the Sossions Court, Malaya,
and sub soquontly in 1956 ho was appointod a Puisno Judgo of Malaya, which
offico ho hold until his transfor to Hong Kong in 1961.
Sir Ivo was knighted in 1964.
