I attach a copy of a letter, dated February 3, which the Prime Minister has received from Lieutenant-Commander Lynch Maydon, M.P. about the title of the Hong Kong Police.

As you will see Lieutenant-Commander Maydon is so dissatisfied with the delay in reaching a decision on this matter that he is proposing to table a Question.

I should be grateful for your advice on how the Prime Minister should reply to this letter by close of business on Friday, February 7.
