We have recently received a request from our High Commission in Barbados for permission to pass to the Barbados Government copies of certain printed Despatches, including Hong Kong Despatch No. 617 of 24 May about principal developments since February 1968.
The passing of certain Despatches to Commonwealth Governments is an accepted principle, and in this particular case we ourselves see no objection (although we might think differently if the request had come from our High Commission in Tanganyika or Zambia).
