5. In this Order:-
"Secretary of State" means any of Her Majesty's Principal
Secretaries of State;
Ic. "Requisition" in relation to any ship or thing means
take possession of the ship or thing or require the ship
or thing to be placed at the disposal of the requisitioning
authority;
"British ship" shall not include any ship registered
(i)
in any country mentioned in section 1(3) of
the British Nationality Act 1948, as amended
from time to time (whether before or after the
making of this Order); or
(ii) in any territory administered by or under the
authority of the Government of any of those
countries.
The Requisitioning of Ships Order 1955 and the Requisitioning of
Ships (Amendment) Order 1958 are revoked.
