Froject Apollo Tracking Station
There are in addition an experimental radio station in Fiji and several temporary facilities i.e. a Terrestrial Trilateration Survey in Fiji and the Gilbert and Ellice Islands, a geodetic Survey in Fiji and air/sea rescue facilities in several colonies in connection with NASA projects. Long Range Aids to Calibration (for use in hydrographic surveys) are stationed in the Caribbean colonies from time to time.
