Annual recurrent expenditure might be of the order of $20 million for a new college of the Polytechnic with 2,000 full time students. An additional of $10 million per annum should be allowed for the Technical College. It is stressed that these figures are tentative and have not been referred to the Director of Public Works for scrutiny. It is possible that there may, in the event, be a wide discrepancy between the figures quoted and what ultimately may be given in any estimates obtained from the Director.
