Hong Kong Department
29 January, 1969
It appears that your letter SCR 20/2041/67 of the 23rd January, 1969, addressed to Walden at our Mission in Peking was inadvertently put into the wrong envelope and
sent to me in error.
2. The letter enclosed one copy of each of the two Special Branch notes on political indoctrination in Communist schools. Since you mentioned in the letter that copies of the notes had been sent to London, I am assuming that the letter and copies of the note intended for me have been sent to Walden. However, this is pure speculation on my part.
3.
I am holding on to the letter and its enclosures until I hear further from you.
We should homes, like to have those extra copix of each Report, of you can spare
