I am extremely sorry about this muddle in the registry. Unfortunately I was away from the office last Thursday, our bag day, and was not able to take immediate steps to put things right. Unfortunately I have not got enough copies immediately available to send you any more at the moment. I have, therefore, written to Walden asking him to send his surplus to you; meanwhile I will try to raise some more this end.
I note that you only need an extra three of each paper. Would you prefer to have only four copies of such papers in future? The practice of sending you six copies has "just growed" like Topsy, and if fewer are needed,then the distribution list will be amended accordingly.
