Anglo-Benelux Agreed Minute on Trade

Please refer to Gerry Pearson's letter of 19 September.

We have just had.a letter from Serraris in which he says that he is, to his regret, still not able to give any final answer about the inclusion of the British Overseas Territories into the Agreed Minute. He believes that it would help things on if he could have the relevant texts of the Agreed Minutes with other Common Market countries which have accepted this inclusion. He says that as he has not

been able to trace such texts, he would like us to help him procure them. He feels that with their aid the argument will improve.

2. I have acknowledged Serraris' letter and said that we will get in touch with him again as soon as possible.
