With reference to paragraph 2 of Foreign Office telegram 252 to Hong Kong, I have received this morning from the Commerce & Industry Department copies of the further statistics requested by the Hong Kong Government in its note of 3rd April 1969. The Commerce & Industry Department say that these statistics were brought to Hong Kong by Baron de Geer and copies may not yet have been handed over to the British Embassy in Stockholm. In consequence, I have been asked to make additional copies for you and these are attached.

I am writing in similar terms to Shaun Stewart of the Board of Trade.
