Sweden/Hong Kong Textile Negotiations

As promised in my telegram under reference I enclose -

(1) a copy of the draft letter of notification of restraints on

841.462 and 841.751 initialed by Baron de Geer and myself (de Geer has the original).

(2) the original of a letter from de Geer to Jordan acknowledging

receipt of Jordan's letter of 7 February on the resumption of the issue of EAS on 841.764, and

(3) the original of a further letter from de Geer to Jordan

recording the Swedish view that the restraint levels established for jackets, jumpers, etc., and anoraks and similar jackets shall not be considered a precedent for any future arrangements.
