Hong Kong positions 465 and 866, Norwegian production,

imports, market shares.

This table shows that the decline in Norwegian

production of jackets, jumpers etc. (of wool and synthetics)

which has taken place since 1954, continued in the first

half of 1968 compared to the same period of 1967.

Hong Kong's exports have been almost trebled,

in this period and its market share is increasing rapidly.

Whereas imports from Hong Kong-of jackets,......

jumpers etc. of synthetic fibres increased with 20% during

the first half of 1968 compared to first half of 1967,

Norwegian production of this item decreased with 45% from

the one period to the other.
