4th July 1968 on the subject of Rsport Authorisations. Accordingly, he has included (111) of phrograph 1 abovo in his order suspending Export Authorisationo. He would be obliged 12

the Consul-General could confirm that this accoris with the actual

request of the Swedish Government.

The Director of Commerce and Industry also wishes to

confirm that export licences will continue to be issued for the

export of the above categories up to the validity date and within the quantity stated in each Export Authorisation already

insued.

In order to facilitate the conduct of consultabicas, the Director of Commerce and Industry would be obliged if the Swedish Government could make available to the Hong Kong Government the following details relating to the three items concerned:

(a) statistics of production;

(b) imports from other sources; (c) exports; and

(a) domestic consumption

for the period since lat: July 1968.

Whilst the Director of Commerce and Industry understands that the Swedish Goverriment would wish to hold these consultations in Stockholm or London, he would prefer to have then held in Hong Kong in view of other pressing commitments already indicated verbally to the Consul-General. He would accordingly be obliged if the Consul-General could convey this to the Swailish Governmont.
