I have the honour to propose that the Hong Kong

Government should instituté a system of Export Authorisation for-

knitted or crocheted, wholly or mainly of synthetic textile materials, men'o and boyn wear.

3lacks and trousers, not

knitted or crocheted, wholly or mainly of cynthetic textils materials, men'a and boya'

wear.

Blouses „nd jumpers, not knitted

or crocheted, wholly or mainly of polyester, nylon (polyami do) and rayon textile - materials, not embroidered, women's and girlo' wear.

Jackets, jumpers, sweaters, - cardigans and pullovers, knitted or crocheted, wholly or nainly of acrylic fibro, men's end boys' wear.

for twelve months from 1st October 1969. The principal purpose of this system could be to provide the Government of Norway with advance information on the development of exporta in those items,

I could explain that under the Export Authorisation system no export licence for the so items will be issued unless en Export Authorisation has previously been obtainca in respecs of the consignment concerned, Expert Authorications are issued only en production of evidence of a firm contract for the cupply of the goods in respect of which the applicant socks auch Authorisation.
