Italian Consular Endorsements of Certificates or Origin – Hong Kong

At long last I am able to reply to your letter of 21 October, 1968, concerning Hong Kong's protests on the above matter.

Hong Kong have submitted a draft Note Verbale which we have altered slightly - mainly to reduce the verbiage. I should be grateful if you could forward this Note to Rome, for submission to the Italian authorities, although if you feel any further amendment is called for we could perhaps discuss this over the telephone?

For your information I enclose a copy of the latest Saving Despatch from Hong Kong, together with their original draft Note.
