For reasons which you will appreciate, no reply has been sent to Mr. Mulley's letter to Mr. Crosland of September 22. The meeting of the G.A.T.T. Cotton Textiles Committee has now taken place and its outcome was summarised in Telegram No: 543 from our Mission in Geneva. It is envisaged that there shall be another meeting of the Committee in the first half of December.
Our officials will naturally be in touch with yours before this second meeting takes place, and I suggest that this would be the most „appropriate way of taking up the points which Mr. Mulley made in so far as they are still relevant.
