In my letter to you of 2 Way, I said that I hoped to be able to send you shortly a copy of the Commission's proposals to the Council for the inatsiletion of a uniform Community import regise in the ceraaie socior; and also a copy of the Coumission's communication to the ouncil on the proposals which they will subsequently be putting for ard to complete the Community's liberalisation list and to aut up Commanity import quotaa for those tariff positions where there are currently divergences between the import regimes of the member states.
