Your six points were taken but we have decided against making those in your paragraphs (A) and (E). 3. In the case of (A), it was agreed that this is an occasion when the constitutional position should be stated at the outset with blunt emphasis. Trench's present position, which he will discuss with you on return, is that he would be willing to secure local acceptance by arguing on the basis of existing text.
