I should be grateful if you would acknowledge the receipt of this despatch and confirm that the Government of the Bahama Islands accept the authority delegated in paragraph 2 of this despaton subject to the understandings and stipulations set out in paragraphs 3 and 4 in relation' to such delegation, which shall become effective on the date of receipt of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of your acknowledgement and confirmation of acceptance.
