8. Tran said that there would be a further meeting of the Council Working Group on 8-9 January and after this the picture should become somewhat clearer. He thought it possible that di Martino might wish to have an informal meeting in London with you some time between then and the 21 January UNCTAD meeting in Geneva, but he was not sure about this and would get in touch after Christmas.
