(c) whether consultants will be used (i) in the design stage

and (ii) to supervise construction, or if not, how

(a)

construction will be supervised;

proposals for selecting management and training skilled labour to operate the projects;

(e) main raw materials required by the project, and their

supply;

(f) availability or proposed provision of power, water and other

services;

(8) whether operation of the project will depend on the

completion of other projects.

BENEFITS TO BE DERIVED FROM THE PROJECT

(a)

the needs the project is intended to satisfy and how it fits in with national requirements and other sources of supply;

(b) direct and indirect benefits estimated (e.g. during the

first 10 years or the longest forecast available):-

-

(i) direct benefits sales of products, trained students,

increase in secondary school places, additional hospital beds, etc.;

(ii)

indirect benefits

-

increases in taxes received, etc.;

(iii) national economic benefits - saving or earning foreign

exchange (net after deducting the cost of imported materials and components); employment created by the project in the construction stage and when operating etc.;

(iv)

other development projects facilitated by the completion of this project (or indirect losses e.g. destruction of local industry);

(v) social benefits, e.g. improved transport, better

health, etc.;

(c) relation of overall benefits to operating costs (including servicing debt amortizing plant and equipment, etc.).

Supporting documents - feasibility study, consultant's or O.D.M. Adviser's report etc. enclosed with the application. Summary of results of technical studies.
