so as to permit a third night shift from the hours of

11.00 p.m. to 7 a.m. for a trial period of one year on

such conditions as the Commissioner of Labour may deem

necessary.

20.

The Company would appreciate the opportunity

of consultation with the Commissioner on the conditions

which should be imposed on the grant of such an exemp-

tion and submits that such conditions should not include

an obligation to rotate employees from shift to shift as

it is believed that this would be unacceptable to many

of the Company's existing employees and might thereby

cause difficulties with the Company's existing labour

force.

21.

The Company will be pleased to give any further

information and explanations which may be required.
