Review, published in Hong Kong, is planning to issue a supplement on September 25 on Britain in Asia, which will examine the current period of transition

whether a senior British Cabinet Minister
(preferably the Prime Minister, the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, the President of the Board of Trade, or the Minister of Defence) would
contribute a 600-word introduction, outlining

Britain's role in / region, to the supplement.

The High Commission (Hong Kong telegram No.1325)
strongly support this request. They state that
similar supplements on Australia, Canada and India
have received contributions from the Prime Ministers
of those countries.
Recommendation.
That the request is important and that,
enough to put to the Prime Minister;
failing his agreement, we should submit it to
Mr. Crosland..

influential English-language weekly publication
