Visit of Delegation of Mr. Grey's Relatives

at 12 noon on 12 May

You have kindly agreed to receive a delegation of relatives of Hr. Anthony Grey to hand over a petition signed by fifty-three members of his family at 12 noon on Monday, 12 Kay. The delegation will consist of five persons led by an uncle of Mr. Grey, Hr. Bullent, and including Mrs. Grey. Mrs. Grey called on Lord Shepherd to discuss her son's. caco on 14 January and subsequently the department has kept her in touch with developments by letter. Mrs. Grey is also to see shortly Mr. Cradock, our former Charge d'Affaires in Poking. The Sunday newspaper "The People" would seem to be responsible in the first instance for organising the petition as part of its recent campaign for the early release of the eleven Chinese netsworkers in Hong Kong in order to secure Ur. Crey's/ I attach recent articles from "The People".
