NOTES FOR SUPPLEMENTARIES

When confined to their cells the prisoners concerned have been allowed any privileges possible in the circumstances, such as the receipt of reading matter and visitors, and (as stated in the regulations) enjoy their usual exercise periods.

no element of the punishment of separate confinement.

regulations are not required to work and in their case the
