7. Each case was carefully examined by the Law Officers before
any detention order was made. In every case the person
detained was informed of the reasons for his detention.
Review Procedure

A detained person can lodge objections against his
detention to a Committee of Review immediately after the
detention order is made and thereafter at intervals of not
less than two months. The Committee's recommendations are
not lightly disregarded.
9. At the discretion of the Committee of Review, the
detainee can present his objections through counsel,
solicitor, or other agent.
